Mold Remediation

SERVPRO of Reading received a call from an insured with a water damage to her mother's residence.  SERVPRO inspected the loss to discover the hot water supply to the furnace has crack, causing high levels of moisture in the basement.  Unfortunately, the residence is vacant and only check once or twice a month.  The water damage caused microbial growth on all the joists and subfloor in the basement.  SERVPRO of Reading was able to contain the mold into the basement and successfully remove all the mold in the 100+ year old house.  The insured was thankful we were able to salvage her mother's residence before it spread to the main portion of the residence!
